Jed & I met almost 6 years ago at NC State's College of Textiles when fate would have it that we would be assigned to the same group project. I actually don't recall what the project was about at all, but I guess it's fair to say I may have been a little distracted. From the first moment I met Jed, I knew he was different from any other person I had ever met. He had a certain charm about him that I have never seen in anyone else. When we exchanged information for our project and he told me his name was Jedidiah Butterfield and I laughed out loud and said, "OK, but really, what's your name?" Thinking that his name was too unique and odd to be real....little did I know that one day I'd be sharing that special name right along with him! Jed and I share many of the same life passions such as art and our love of the beach. Our dream is to one day settle day along a quiet coastal town and start a family. We are excited to begin our life's journey together and thank you for being a part of this special time in our lives! XOXO

Lauren is my better half, in our 6 very interesting and exciting years together so far we have had an amazing journey.  I remember when I first saw her thinking that is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and boy do I want to get to know her.  After getting to know her I ran the opposite direction but she caught me, lol just kidding, seriously though after getting to know Lauren her sweet optimistic attitude, ambition, her willingness to help anyone in need, intelligence, and fighting spirit made me certian she was the one for me.  Our story together has just begun and I know we will have plenty of adventures ahead as husband and wife.  I have learned key phrases along the way such as; "Yes, dear" and "Sure, we'll go out see that movie" and "I'll get out of your way, but just let me know if you need any help cooking"  We have our little differences as all people do, but we agree on the things that really matter like family, future goals, and our faith in God.  We feel so blessed and excited to be sharing our wedding with you and thanks for all of your support!!
