Our amazing love story can best be characterized within the context of Thomas Carlyle's (1795-1891) poignant words:

"Let TIME and CHANCE, combine, combine!

 Let TIME and CHANCE, combine 

 The fairest love from heaven above.

 That love of yours and mine, my dear

 That love of yours was mine!"

It all began with a "CHANCE meeting" in November 2004 at a local church event in Bowling Green, KY. With TIME, that "CHANCE meeting" eventually grew into a special friendship. We both were enrolled in different programs of study at Western Kentucky University - Rashaud the Architecture major on scholarship from Manchester, Jamaica, while Toynika, a Bowling Green native also on scholarship, chose Dentistry.

As time went by, our friendship grew steadier and more meaningful. It was perhaps TIME; but we are more inclined to believe that it was CHANCE that ensured that both of us completed our programs together in May 2007.

Since our graduation from WKU, we have both secured employment in our respective fields. FATE had forged a bond with TIME and CHANCE so our friendship grew and blossomed into LOVE.

Nothing will be left to CHANCE and TIME will "stand still" as we exchange wedding vows at the enchanting Jewel Runaway Bay Resort, Runaway Bay, Jamaica, W.I in the company of family members from both sides.

The ceremony, scheduled for 1:00pm on December 28, 2013 will certainly provide more memories as our CHANCE meeting in 2004 transitions into a life of matrimonial love and happiness. 

A very perfect combination of TIME and CHANCE indeed!!

As we embark on this new phase of our relationship, we are delighted to have those we hold dear share in our joy and happiness.

The fact that our wedding will be in Jamaica has forced us to rethink our Wedding Gift Registry. Even though you are the persons dearest to us, we understand that it will be a challenge to be present at our wedding. However, we want you to feel free to support us in your own way. Below you will find some options to consider in lieu of a wedding gift.

We have created a wedding/honemoon registry (Link at top of page) where donations can be made electronically if desired; or you can contribute by doing the following:

*Donation of cash equaling cost of intended gift.

*Contribution to meal cost (not included in wedding package.)

*Any other option you may have in mind.
