The First time we went to Jamaica I fell in love with the Island, I had been thinking about a lifelong commitment with Carol and one morning before we took off back home I took a walk around the resort and looked at the Wedding Pier and a rainbow was right there in the middle. It was my sign that this is the spot to marry this wonderful woman. So I bought a ring and was planning on proposing in that spot the next year. I had it all planned out but our trip back could not happen. So the planning of where and when started up again, a few other places fell through as well. Then our friends said lets camp on Labor Day weekend and I said that is where it will happen. So after having a ring nine months it was time. So I came up with a little entertainment for the camping trip, a slide show for everyone that she has camped with for so many years. Except at the end of the show I would have slides of her and her family and then I would pop the question.

What a great night! Surrounded with friends and family it was the perfect time to propose. She said yes and now here we are, going back to the spot I wanted to propose to her at but this time to marry my best friend.
