I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO in the municipality of Pine Lawn. My parents were teenagers and my grandparents graciously stepped in to help raise me. Our family was one of the first black families to move on our block and I still own the home I grew up in. I attended Normandy High School and graduated in 1984. Many years later while raising my only child as a single mom I went back to school and achieved my BA in Business Administration & Marketing from Columbia College, 1 year later I obtained my Masters in Health Administration as well as Human Resource Management. My career has mainly been in Healthcare from claims, auditing, configurations, business analyst and now EDI analyst. I have worked for some prominant companies along the way. My biggest acomplishment has been the birth of my only child Colbren James Ramon Thompson. Motherhood is been the most rewarding experience to date. |
